2009 Special Town Meeting

Town of Shutesbury

Commonwealth of Massachusetts

At a legal meeting of the Inhabitants of the Town of Shutesbury
qualified to vote in elections and town affairs, held at the
Shutesbury Town Hall, 1 Cooleyville RD on the sixteenth day of
December in the year two thousand and nine, in the presence of a
quorum the following business was conducted.

Moderator Penelope Kim opened the meeting at 6:30 PM   


Article 1.  A motion was made and seconded that the Town transfer the
sum $80,000 from Free Cash to the Fire Station Gasoline Spill account
for the Phase II and Phase III remediation of soil contamination.

Passed unanimously. 


Article 2.  A motion was made and seconded that the Town adopt the
Elementary School Resolution Re: Collaboration and Consolidation.

Passed unanimously. 


Article 3.  A motion was made and seconded that the Town increase the
budget salary compensation of town employees 1 ½% effective from July
1, 2009.

Passed unanimously.   


Article 4.  A motion was made and seconded to postpone Article 4
indefinitely.

Passed unanimously. 


The meeting was dissolved at 7:13 P.M.
