Shutesbury Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
November 20, 2007

Members present: Chairman Rebecca Torres and Debra Pichanick.  Ralph
Armstrong went home due to illness.  Also Present: Town Administrator
David C. Dann and Leslie Bracebridge, recording.

Meeting opened at 7:00 P.M.

Appointments  
 Police Chief Harding:
* Staffing.
* Four highway spin-outs during the first snowstorm of the season;
  snowstorm arrived during early morning commute hours.

A meeting with Assessors to discuss splitting the tax rate, the recap
and new values was not held, due to absences and illnesses.

Topics
1.  Snow emergencies were not discussed.
2.  A small retaining wall at the library was not discussed.

Select Board Action Items
1.  No minutes were approved.
2.  Unanimously voted to sign a statement of support of local
residents in the National Guard and Reserve.
3.  Unanimously voted to sign a contract with Eastern Weatherization
of Montague, MA to seal the fire station ducts and insulate the attic,
in the amount of $3,694.50.
4.  Unanimously voted to sign the certification of the National
Incident Management System Training NIMS.
5.  Unanimously voted to award a surplus Etyne snow blower to Edward
Vendette of Shutesbury in the amount of $710.  This is the last award
of the surplus bids.

A motion was made, seconded and unanimously voted to adjourn at 7:22
P.M.
