Distribution of Town Trash Bags

Under the PayAsYouThrow (PAYT) program, each household is entitled to 50 bags per "bag year" (from one Town Meeting to the next). This means that each single-family home and each duplex or legal two-residence structure gets 50 bags "free."  "Free" means the bags are funded by the taxes we each pay.

Please take time to read the schedule for pickup of your annual bag allotment. 

Town Hall staff will not give out annual allotments until after the distribution period [below] is complete. 

We ask that you make every effort to attend one of the dates below, staffed by Recycling and Solid Waste Committee members, so that paid Town Hall staff can focus on their primary responsibilities. 

Here is the schedule — the hours are firm.

Please bring your "Recycled Tote Bag" or some clean plastic grocery bags for us to use.
