03 October

 

1540 Road Hazard, Rte 202 – Report of tree down blocking Route 202.

     Mass. Highway notified.  Several citizens stopped and assisted

     officer in removing tree form roadway.

 

 

04 October

 

1135 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1530 Suspicious Activity, Prescott Rd. – Officer responded to a report

     from a citizen that their disabled vehicle was missing from

     Prescott Rd.  State Police advised vehicle had been towed at

     their direction.

 

1730 Citizen Complaint, Birch Dr. – Officer requested to mediate

     neighbor dispute.

 

1745 Suspicious Vehicle, Pelham Hill Rd. – Resident requested an

     officer check area for a vehicle which was driving back and forth

     in the neighborhood.  GOA.

 

 

06 October

 

1040 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1400 Citizen Complaint, Birch Dr. – Officer requested for ongoing

     neighbor dispute.

 

1800 Warrant Service, Wendell Rd. – Officer attempted to serve warrant

     at a Wendell Rd.  residence; negative contact.

 

1920 Suspicious Vehicle, Spear Library – Officer requested to check on

     a vehicle parked in the library parking area for extended period

     of time.  Investigation revealed the operator was utilizing

     library wireless service form their vehicle.

 

2110 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

 

07 October

 

1640 Disturbance, Merrill Dr. – Officer requested for dispute between

     neighbors.

 

1805 Well Being Check, West Pelham Rd. – Relative requested officer

     check on family member; resident informed of family’s concern.

 

 

08 October

 

1515 Direct Enforcement, Elementary School – Bus safety enforcement.

 

1615 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd. – Citation issued for expired State

     inspection.

 

2055 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for defective

     equipment.

 

 

09 October

 

1600 Alarm Response, West Pelham Rd. – Officer responded to a West

     Pelham residence for a reported smoke alarm sounding.  Check

     revealed activation caused by cleaning of furnace by technician.

 

1650 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1700 Assist motorist, Atkins Reservoir – Officer checking vehicle at

     reservoir provided directions to Amherst.

 

1755 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

 

13 October

 

1845 Assist Other Agency, Atkins Reservoir – Amherst Water Dept. was

     advised that gate blocking access road at reservoir had been left

     opened, lock missing.

 

2015 Assist Resident, Locks Pond Rd. – Officer provided courtesy

     transport for pedestrian.

 

2130 Alarm Response, Lake Dr. – Officer responded with Fire Dept for a

     smoke detector activation.  Cause determined to be activation

     from wood stove.

 

 

14 October

 

1545 Traffic Stop, Pelham Hill Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1600 Chemical Spill, Ret 202 – Orange PD requested officer check Ret

     202 for a reported diesel fuel spill.  Check of area with State

     Police determined the spill was in Pelham and Pelham Fire was on

     scene.

 

1705 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1915 Traffic Stop, Wendell rd. – Citation issued for marked lanes

     violation.

 

1945 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd. – Two citations issued for

     speeding.

 

 

15 October

 

1700 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

2115 Noise Complaint, Pratt Corner Rd. – Officer responded to a

     complaint of a barking dog.  Information forwarded to Town Dog

     Officer.
