1500 DMV, Rte 202 - Officer checked on disabled vehicle in Rte. 202.

 

1535 M/V Complaint, Schoolhouse Rd. – Officer followed up on complaint

     of erratic operation of a vehicle on Schoolhouse Rd.

 

1545 Suspicious Activity, Sand Hill Rd. – Following a routine check of

     a vehicle parked on Sand Hill Rd. operator was issued a

     non-criminal citation for possession of marijuana.

 

1630 Animal Complaint, Wendell Rd. – Officer investigated a report of

     a raccoon acting strangely near a residence on Wendell Rd.

 

 

17 September

 

1650 M/V Investigation, Lake Area – Officer checked on three vehicles

     which were reported to have revoked registrations.

 

 

18 September

 

1420 Alarm Response, Lake Dr. – Officer responded to a residential

     alarm activation on Lake Dr.  Response by Fire Chief revealed the

     cause of the alarm was a faulty detector.

 

1650 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1830 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding and

     expired registration.

 

1950 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

2040 Traffic Stop, W. Pelham Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

2145 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

2240 Traffic Stop, Lakeview Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

 

19 September

 

1125 Traffic stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1145 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1225 Noise Complaint, Gass Lite Ln. – Officer responded to a complaint

     of loud music at a Gass Lite Ln. residence.

 

1500 Animal Complaint, Pratt Corner Rd. – Dog officer reported a dead

     dog, no tags or collar, on Pratt Corner Rd. – Highway

     Dept. contacted for removal.

 

1550 Suspicious Activity, Highway Yard – Officer spoke with a resident

     regarding the removal of items at the Town Highway yard.

 

1705 Parking Complaint, Lakeview Rd. – Parking citation issued to

     vehicle parked on Lakeview Rd.

 

 

20 September

 

1200 Parking Complaint, Lakeview Rd. – Officer contacted owner of

     vehicle impeding traffic on Lakeview Rd.

 

21 September

 

1705 Assist Other Dept., New Salem – Shutesbury officer and State

     Police requested to assist New Salem PD with arrest warrant.

 

 

22 September

 

0745 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for stop sign

     violation.

 

1025 Alarm Response, W. Pelham Rd. – Officers responded to residential

     alarm on W.  Pelham Rd.  Owner advised activation was accidental.

 

1030 Trespass Notice, Amherst – Shutesbury resident reported

     suspicious activity; trespass notice served to Amherst resident

     followings investigation.

 

1235 Suspicious Activity, Shore Dr. – Property owner reports

     unauthorized entry into their unsecured lake property.

 

1535 209A Service, Birch Dr. – Officer attempted to serve 209A order

     to Birch Dr.  resident; negative contact.

 

1935 209A Service, Birch Dr. – Officer served 209A in hand to Birch

     Dr. resident.

 

2120 Assist Other PD, New Salem – Shutesbury officer requested to

     assist New Salem PD with call response at a Daniel Shays Highway

     address.

 

 

23 September

 

1315 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1405 Traffic Stop, W. Pelham Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1540 Traffic Stoop, Lakeview Rd. – Citation issued for

     unregistered/uninsured vehicle.  vehicle removed at owner’s

     expense.

 

1715 Assist Other Pd, Leverett – Shutesbury officer requested to

     assist Leverett PD with 3 car MVA on Rte 63.  24 September

 

1420 Suspicious Activity, Pratt Corner Rd. – Officer investigated a

     report of shots fired in the woods near Pratt Corner Rd.; GOA

 

1450 Assist Citizen, W. Pelham Rd. – Resident advised of criminal

     complaint process.

 

 

25 September

 

1230 Well Being Check, Gass Lite Ln. – Request for an officer to check

     on the well being of a family member; contact made.

 

1615 Assist Other PD, New Salem – Shutesbury officer requested to

     assist New Salem PD with despondent individual /traffic stop.

 

1800 Assist Citizen, In-Station – Resident requesting information on

     firearm licensing.

 

1830 MVA, Cooleyville Rd. – Officer investigated a motorcycle v. car

     accident, no injuries, at the intersection of Cooleyville and

     Wendell Rd.  Motorcycle operator issued citation for

     speeding/failure to use care/ marked lanes violation.

 

2225 Disturbance, W. Pelham Rd. – Officers responded to a W. Pelham

     Rd. residence with State Police for a reported disturbance.

     Following interviews with the residents of the house, charges for

     drug and firearms violations are pending.

 

 

29 September

 

0805 MVA, Prescott Rd. @ Town Farm Rd. – Officer investigated a 2 car

     MVA, no injuries.  No citations issued.

 

 

30 September

 

1625 Animal Complaint, Shore – Officer observed loose dog in lake

     area.  Dog officer advised of owner’s information and past

     complaints.

 

1745 Assist Citizen, Birch Dr. – Officer advised resident on

     domestic/property dispute issue.
