     Department officials.

 

1325 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.

 

1405 Traffic Stop, Lake View Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.

 

1430 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.

 

1730 MVA, Sandhill Rd. - Officer took report of a 2 car motor vehicle

     accident; property damage only.

 

2100 DMV, Rte 202 - Officer assisted a motorist with a disabled

     vehicle in Route 202.

 

 

02 August

 

1010 B&E, West Pelham Rd.- Officer followed up on a residential break

     at a West Pelham Rd. residence; State Police initiated

     investigation.

 

1320 Vandalism, Locks Pond Rd. - Officer took a report of vandalism to

     a motor vehicle at a Locks Pond Rd. residence.

 

1540 Assist Citizen, Wendell Rd. - Officer requested at a Wendell Rd.

     residence.  After responding the matter was referred to the Fire

     Department.

1500 Info from Other PD, Hadley - Hadley reported they had arrested a

     Shutesbury resident in their Town on an outstanding warrant.

 

2040 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.

1620 Traffic Stop, Locks Pond Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.

 

1920 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.

 

2045 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd. - Citations issued for speeding.

 

2055 Assist Citizen, Town Hall - Officer provided information for

     expired registration/renewal.

0840 911 Hang-up, Locks Pond Rd. - Officer responded to a reported 911

     emergency hang-up call from a Locks Pond Rd. residence.

 

1630 Administrative Action, Locks Pond Rd. - Officer seized expired

     registration from a vehicle.

 

1700 Traffic Enforcement, State Beach - Three citations issued for

     speeding.

 

1815 Traffic Stop, Locks Pond Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.

 

2100 911 Hang-up Response - Officer responded to a reported 911

     emergency hang-up call from a Locks Pond Rd. residence.

1545 Suspicious Activity, Leverett Rd. - Resident reported that a

     large bucket of paint had been left on their lawn.

 

1630 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.

 

1810 Assist Other Dept., New Salem - New Salem PD requested in

     locating a vehicle reported to be operating in an erratic manner;

     vehicle located.

 

1820 DMV, Rte 202 - Officer assisted a motorist with a disabled

     vehicle.

     accident, hit and run property damage; operator identified during

1610 Suspicious Activity, Atkins Reservoir - Officer investigated a

     report of two individuals arguing in a car parked at the

     reservoir.

1910 MVA, Wendell Rd. - Officer investigated a hit and run property

     damage accident.  Witness provided description of vehicle and

     occupants.

 

2100 Suspicious Person, Elementary School - Officer identified an

     individual observed on school property.

 

2140 Suspicious Vehicle, Randall Rd. - Officer checking a vehicle

     parked at the Town boat ramp located owners.

 

2235 Assist Other Department, Leverett - Assistance requested by

     Leverett PD in dispersing a large gathering in their town;

     Sunderland PD also responded.

1745 Hazard, January Hills Rd. - Officer removed tree branches from

     roadway.

 

1915 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.

 

2135 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. - Citation issued for marked lanes

     violation.

1525 Assist Person, Elementary School - Officer assisted a staff

     member at the elementary school.
