1315 Traffic Stop, Lakeview Rd.- Check of operator indicated a warrant

     issued by Greenfield Court.  Operator transported for booking;

     vehicle towed.

 

 

02 March

 

1030 DMV, Rte. 202- Officer assisted motorist with DMV on ret. 202,

     assisted by MSP.

 

1130 Traffic Hazard, Prescott Rd. – Officer investigated a report of

     snow being plowed on to Town road from private property owner.

 

 

03 March

 

1500 Residence Check- House check conducted at request of homeowner.

 

1800 Assist Citizen – Officer requested to assist in landlord/tenant

     issue.

 

1845 Animal Complaint, Rte 202 – Officer dispatched to investigate

     report of loose dog on Rte 202.

 

 

04 March

 

0700 DMV, Town Hall – Officer advised of DMV @ Town Hall.

     Arrangements made with owner for removal.

 

1100 Residence Check – House check conducted at request of homeowner.

 

1450 DMV, Cooleyville Rd. – Office assisted motorist with DMV.

 

 

05 March

 

1325 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

 

06 March

 

0720 Suspicious Activity, Sand Hill Rd. – Officer investigated fuel

     tanks and equipment parts found at logging staging area.

 

0740 DMV, Town Farm Rd – Officer assisted operator of DMV.

 

1315 MVA, Cushman Rd. – Officer investigated single vehicle

     v. telephone pole accident, no injuries, on Cushman Rd.  Vehicle

     towed from scene at operators request.

 

1830 Animal Complaint, Old Egypt rd. – Officer assisted in locating

     owner or loose dog found in the Lake area.

 

 

08 March

 

1315 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1725 DMV, Leverett Rd. – Officer assisted operator of DMV in area of

     “S” curves.

 

 

09 March

 

0730 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for failure to use

     caution.

 

0815 DMV, Wendell Rd. – Officer assisted operator of DMV.

 

     Traffic Hazard, Wendell Rd. – Unpaved section of Wendell

     Rd. closed to through traffic due to muddy road conditions.

 

1220 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1745 Assist Other Agency, Pelham PD- Paperwork exchange with Pelham

     PD.

 

 

10 March

 

0845 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1100 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1500 Assist Other Agency, Probation Dept. – Probation requested

     execution of warrant for Town resident.

 

1545 Arrest, Leverett Rd. – Town and State police arrested Leverett

     Rd. resident on warrant.

 

 

11 March

 

0710 Hazard, Town Roads- Highway Dept. advises that unpaved sections

     of Leonard Rd. and Sand Hill Rd. are closed to through traffic

     due to muddy road conditions.

 

 

12 March

 

0845 Info From Other Agency, MSP- State police detectives provided

     information related to suspicious activity reported by Amherst,

     Hadley, and Sunderland Police.

 

1510 Animal Complaint, Wendell Rd.- Resident informed of complaint

     filed on their unrestrained dog.

 

2145 DMV, Town Hall- Officer assisted operator of DMV.

 

 

13 March

 

1620 Traffic Stops, Leverett Rd. – Citations issued to 2 operators for

     speeding.

 

1720 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

 

1735 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd. Citation issued for expired

     registration sticker.

 

1740 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd. – Citation issued for registration

     violation.

 

1805 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd. – Citation issued for speeding and

     seatbelt violation.

 

1855 Traffic Stop, Locks Pond Rd. – Citation issued for Stop sign

     violation.

 

1910 Traffic Stop, Lakeview Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

1800 Assist Person, Shutesbury Rd. (Leverett)- Officer investigated

     single vehicle MVA, no injuries, on Shutesbury Rd., Leverett.

 

 

15 March

 

1300 Alarm Response, Lakeview Rd. – Officer responded to residential

     alarm activation.  Homeowner on scene advised activation was

     accidental.

 

1610 MVA, Cooleyville Rd. – Officer investigated a minor one car MVA,

     no injuries, at the library.

 

1800 Alarm Response, West Pelham Rd.- Officer responded to residential

     alarm activation.  Homeowner on scene advised activation was

     accidental.
