1700 Summons Service, Wendell Rd.- Officer attempted to serve summons at Wendell Rd residence; negative contact.

1900 M/V Investigation, Pratt Corner Rd.- Motor vehicle plates seized relative to investigation

 

17 January

1040 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd;.- Citations issued for speeding and  expired registration.

1135 MVA, Locks Pond Rd- Single car accident, no injuries.

1235 Hazard, In-Station- Reported hazardous road conditions Town wide;    DPW notified.

1535 Summons Service, Wendell Rd. - Officer attempted summons service at residence on Wendell Rd.; negative contact

1735 DMV, Rte. 202- Officer assisted a disabled motorist on Rte. 202.

 

18 January

1445 Assist Other Agency, Leverett P.D. - Officer responded to request for assistance from Leverett P.D.-disturbance.

 

20 January

0745 Suspicious Activity, Locks Pond Rd.-Resident reported spotlights were directed at their home from a passing vehicle.

0810 Animal Complaint, Leonard Rd. - Officer investigated report of a dead deer on Leonard Rd.

0825 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Warning issued for obstructed operation.

1505 Summons Service, Wendell Rd. - Officer attempted summons service at residence on Wendell Rd.

1955 Parking Complaint, Sand Hill Rd. - Officer contacted owner of vehicle reported to be blocking road.

 

21 January

1645 DMV, Cushman Rd.- Officer assisted motorist with vehicle stuck in snow bank.

2025 Assist Other Agency, Leverett P.D. - Officer responded to request for assistance by Leverett P.D.-traffic.

 

22 January

1550 Traffic Hazard, Lakeview Rd. - Officer responded to Lakeview Rd. relative to a delivery truck blocking the roadway.

1905 Traffic Stop, State Beach Area- Citation issued for speeding.

2055 Traffic Stop, Rte 202- Citation issued for speeding.

2105 Traffic Stop, Rte. 202- Operator issued summons for operating with suspended license; vehicle towed.

 

23 January

1400 Animal Complaint, Wendell Rd.- Resident complained of unrestrained and aggressive dog at a Wendell Rd. residence.

     Officer contacted owners, referred to Animal Control.

1550 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.

1820 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Warning issued for failure to use  care.

2000 Medical Assist. Leverett Rd. - Officer assisted Town EMT’s with medical response to a Leverett Rd. residence.

2035 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for speeding and marked lanes violations.

2050 Animal Complaint, Wendell Rd. - Resident requested police assistance with sick raccoon in the yard.

2105 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for marked lanes violation.

1320 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. –Citation issued for speeding, no registration in possession.

1545 911 Hang-up, Shore Dr, - Officer responded to reported 911 Emergency hang-up call. 
Investigation determined call was made  accidentally.

1605 Suspicious Activity, Shore Dr.- Resident reported possible unauthorized entry into residence.

1625 Medical Assist, Baker Rd.- Officer assisted Town EMT’s with request for medical assistance.

 

26 January

1955 Summon Service, Wendell Rd. –Officer attempted summons service at Wendell Rd. residence; negative contact.

2045 Warrant Service, Montague Rd. –Officer attempted to serve warrant at Montague Rd. residence; negative contact.

 

27 January

1000 Assist Resident, Laurel Dr. –Resident requested to speak with an officer regarding a suspected telephone scam call.

1200 Theft, January Hills Rd. –Resident reported theft of a gift card from mailbox.

 

28 January

1550 DMV, Pratt Corner Rd. –Officer assisted motorist whose vehicle had slid off roadway.

1650 DMV, Rte 202- Officer assisted MSP with vehicle off roadway, Rte. 202, New Salem.  No injuries, vehicle towed.

1725 Suspicious Activity, West Pelham Rd. –Resident requested to speak with an officer regarding a suspicious
male witnessed in the area of the elementary school.

1900 Process, Birch Dr. - Officer delivered 209A service to Birch  Dr. resident.

 

29 January

1705 Warrant Service, Wendell Rd. - Officer attempted to serve warrant to resident on Wendell Rd.; negative contact.

1825 Assist Other Agency, New Salem- Officer responded to request from New Salem PD to assist with shots fired
call in their town.

1840 Assist Other Agency, Leverett P.D.- Officer responded to request from Leverett PD for assistance with MVA.

2050 Suspicious Vehicle, Hwy. Dept.- Officer investigating a vehicle parked in DPW yard discovered registration
was inconsistent with vehicle type.

 

30 January

1600 Summons Service, Town Hall- Summons served in hand at Police Department.

2020 Well Being Check, Pratt Corner Rd. – Officer conducted well being  check at request of family member.

2130 Suspicious Activity, Wendell Rd.- Officers stopped two juvenile males found walking on Wendell Rd.;
found to be in possession of alcohol.

2155 Subsequent Investigation, Wendell Rd.- Interview conducted during previous call led officers to a Wendell Rd.
residence and found large group of minors in possession of alcohol.  Assisted by MSP with the identification 35 underage
individuals; parents contacted, party dispersed.

 

31 January

1040 Medical Assistance, Baker Rd. – Officer assisted EMT’s with medical response to Baker Rd. residence.

2115 MVA, Leverett Rd. – Officer responded to single vehicle accident, no injuries.  Vehicle driven from scene by owner.
