1510 Residential B&E, January Hills Rd.- Shutesbury officer assisting State Police with a breaking and entering
of a residence on January Hills Rd.

1540 Warrant Service, January Hills Rd.- Officer accompanied State police to a residence on January Hills Rd.
to serve a warrant.

1940 DMV, Rte 202- Officer assisted operator of a disabled vehicle on Rte 202.

 

02 January

1200 Directed Enforcement, Town-wide- Officer working traffic enforcement grant in various locations in Town.

2100 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. – Warning issued for marked lanes violation.

 

03 January

1120 Hazard, Kind Rd.- Officer responded to a report of wires down at a residence on King Rd. Power turned
off until National Grid response.

1220 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citations issued for speeding.

1905 Traffic Stop, Locks Pond Rd.- warning issued for defective equipment.

 

05 January

1945 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd.- Criminal complaint issued for expired registration.

2125 Assist Other Department; New Salem- Officer assisted New Salem PD with traffic stop.

 

06 January

0725 Traffic Stop, Locks Pond Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.

0910 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. – Citation issued for speeding.

1050 Medical Assist, Merrill Dr.- Officer assisted Shutesbury FD with medical response to residence on Merrill Dr.
Patient transported by Amherst FD.

1600 DMV, Rte 202- Officer assisted operator of disabled vehicle on Rte. 202.

 

07 January

1435 DMV, Baker Rd.- Officer assisted driver of delivery truck that had become stuck across road due to snow
and ice conditions.

1945 Domestic Complaint, Leverett Rd.- Arrest made for Domestic A&B.

08 January

1400 Assist Other Dept, MSP- Officer responded to request for assistance from State Police with single vehicle
accident in Leverett, no injuries.

2125 Service of Restraining Order, Weatherwood Rd.- Officer served restraining order in hand to resident of
Weatherwood Rd.

 

09 January

1545 Suspicious Vehicle, Montague Rd.- Officer investigated a report of an individual in the Montague Rd area
taking pictures of houses.  Leverett and Shutesbury officers checked area; GOA.

 

1750 Residential Alarm Response, Sumner Mountain Rd.- Officer responded to an alarm at a residence on
Sumner Mountain Rd.  Resident reported accidental activation.

1950 Medical Assist, Baker Rd.- Officer responded to assist Shutesbury FD with medical call on Baker Rd.
Patient transported by Amherst  FD.

1810 Assist Person, Leverett Rd.- Officer took report of lost property.

2245 Assist Other Department; New Salem- Officer assisted New Salem PD with arrest of motor vehicle
operator on Rte 202.

 

10 January

1115 Assist Other Department, Leverett PD.- Officer assisted Leverett PD with vehicle accident, no injuries.

1155 Hazard, Wendell Rd.- Resident requested police and fire response related to odor of gas in the building;
assistance rendered.

1240 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.

2100 DMV, Great Pines Dr.- Officer assisted motorist with vehicle stuck in snow bank.

 

11 January

1420 MVA, Pratt Corner Rd.- Officer responded to 2-car vehicle accident on Pratt Corner Rd, no injuries.
Citation issued for operating too fast for conditions, failure to keep right, and expired inspection sticker.

 

12 January

1850 Summons Service, Wendell Rd.- Officer attempted to serve summons to resident of Wendell Rd.; negative contact.

1855 Civil Complaint, Birch Dr.-Officer spoke to resident of Birch Dr. related to a civil matter; issue resolved.

 

13 January

0745 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.

1140 Assist person, Leonard d.- Officer assisted truck operator with vehicle stuck across road; service rendered.

1450 Hazard, Farm House Rd.- Officer responded to a residence on Farm House Rd. for a report of the odor of gas
in the building.  Shutesbury FD responded; unfounded.

1740 Vehicle Complaint, Cushman Rd/Arrest-OUI. - Officer responded to Cushman Rd to investigate a reported
vehicle stuck in snow bank. Subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Thomas  McCluskey, 47, 45 Pratt
Corner Rd. for OUI, Revoked Registration,  and Unregistered & Uninsured vehicle.

 

14 January

2010 Summons Service, Wendell Rd.- Officer attempted to serve summons in hand to resident of Wendell Rd.;
negative contact.

 

15 January

1820 Assist Citizen, Merrill Dr.- Report of vehicle running with keys locked inside; assistance rendered.

2020 Summons Service, Wendell Rd.- Officer attempted to serve summons in hand to resident of Wendell Rd.;
negative contact.
