Pistol Permit Information

Application Hours: Thursday 6pm-9pm

  • Residents of Shutesbury may file a State application or renewal form for a License to Carry Firearms and FID cards with the Department.
  • Applications for new permits may be picked up at any time at the Police Department office.
  • The fee is $100.00 cash or check, due at the time you submit your application. There is no fee for residents over the age 70
  • Restricted use FID card, for pepper spray, is $25.00.
