1100 Assist Other Department, Sunderland- Officer transferred found
     property to Sunderland P.D.
 
1230 Hazard, Pratt Corner Rd.- Caller reported a section of Pratt
     Corner Rd. had washed away making it impassable.  Highway
     Dept. notified and responded.


22 Feb.

1530 DMV, Prescott Rd.- Report of disabled vehicle on Prescott
     Rd. near Rte. 202.  Responding officer found vehicle gone on
     arrival.  Highway Dept. was contacted regarding icy road
     conditions in that area.
 
1635 Assist Other Dept., New Salem-Officer checked on reported DMV in
     New Salem on Rte. 202.  No New Salem officer available.  Tow
     company of operator's preference was contacted.
 

23 Feb.

1845 Citizen Complaint, Wendell Rd.- Caller reported snowmobiles
     operating on Wendell Rd.  G.O.A.
 
2020 Summons Service, Wendell Rd.- Officer attempted to serve summons
     to Wendell Rd.  resident.  Negative contact.


24 Feb.

1110 Building Check, Elementary School- Officer checked elementary
     school after observing two running vehicles on the parking
     lot. Information taken on both operators.
 
1115 Parking Complaint, Baker Rd. - Moving company vehicle reported to
     be blocking road.  Resident and truck operator were contacted and
     truck was moved.
 
1125 Event Check, Atkins Reservoir- Officer checked on running event
     in the area.  Amherst PD had officers in the area.  Some vehicles
     on January Hills Rd. were moved to clear road for local traffic.
 
1135 House Checks- Several residences were checked at the request of
     homeowners.
 
1700 Suspicious Activity, Elementary School- Caller reported
     suspicious vehicle in school parking lot.  Responding officer
     identified operator as staff member.

1945 Assist Person, Town Hall- Officer presence requested at public
     hearing.
 

26 Feb.

0730 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd- Citation issued for speeding.
 
0910 Traffic Stop, Locks Pond Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.
 
1030 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd.- Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. Citation
     issued for speeding and expired inspection sticker.
 
1045 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
1715 MVA, Leverett Rd.- Report of single vehicle accident in the area
     of "S curves", Leverett Rd.  G.O.A.


27 Feb.   

1000 Suspicious Vehicle, State Beach- Officer checked on vehicle which
     had been parked overnight in State Beach parking lot.  Registered
     owner staying with Lake area resident..
 
1015 Assist Other Department, Leverett- Leverett P.D. requested
     assistence with Section 12 individual.  Sunderland and State
     police also on scene.
 
1310 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.
 
 
29 Feb. 

0805 Residential Alarm, January Hills Rd.- Officer responded to
     residential intrusion alarm.  Homeowner on scene advising
     accidental activation.
 
0940 Residential Alarm, January Hills Rd.- Officer responded to
     residential intrusion alarm.  Responding officer found Fire Dept
     on scene for fire alarm activation.  Homeowner notified and
     responded to correct malfunctioning system.
 
1310 Traffic Stop, Montague Rd.- Citation issued for speeding, no
     inspection sticker, and improper display of plates.
 
1230 Parking Complaint, Leverett Rd.- Attempted to contact registered
     owner unsuccessful.
 
1845 Residential B&E Report, Montague Rd.- Officers spoke with
     resident regarding theft of items from home.  Victim declined to
     file report at this time.
 
2015 Animal Complaint, Wendell Rd.- Officer investigated ongoing
     problem with loose dog on Wendell Rd.  Owner cited for violation
     of Town bylaw.
 
2030 Traffic Stop, Lakeview Rd.- Citation issued for stop sign
     violation.
