0800 Attempt Warrant Service- Negative contact.
0950 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.
1115 Vandalism, Cushman Rd.- Resident reported mailbox had been
vandalized some time between Sunday morning and Monday morning.
17 October
1300 DMV, Leverett Rd.- Report of DMV near Town center; tow truck
contacted.
18 October
1345 Animal Complaint, Montague Rd.- Report of loose dog causing
traffic hazard. Dog ran into woods when officer attempted to
restrain it.
1520 Welfare Check, Lakeview Rd.- Family ember requested well being
check on resident of Lakeview Rd. Service rendered.
2015 Assist Other Agency, Leverett- Officer assistance requested for
reported domestic at a Leverett address.
20 October
1630 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.
1845 Assist Citizen, Pelham Hill Rd.- Resident requested officer
assistance in verifying VIN. Service rendered.
21 October
1055 Suspicious Vehicle/Property Damage, Locks Pond Rd.- Officer
interviewed witness to reported property damage at a Locks Pond
residence.
1500 Invest., Amherst- Officer conducted interview of Amherst resident
relative to ongoing investigation.
1630 Alarm Activation, Elementary School- Officer responded to
elementary school for intrusion alarm. Located and identified
three juveniles, officer notified parents.
22 October
1600 Citizen Complaint, Schoolhouse Rd.- Resident requested to speak
with an officer regarding a past tenant dispute.
23 October
1000 Assist Citizen, Fire Station- Officer requested to meet with a
resident at the fire station regarding a domestic issue.
1700 B&E, Locks Pond Rd.- Officer responded to a residence for a past
B&E. Resident stated that a locked door had been kicked in and a
large amount of change had been taken.
24 October
1230 Parking Complaint, King Rd.- Resident reported illegally vehicle
parked obstructing road. Vehicle was gone on officer's arrival.
1915 Assist Citizen, S.A.C.- Employee of Athletic Club reported car
keys were lost or stolen while she was in the building.
25 October
1300 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd.- Citation issued for speeding and
Marked Lanes violation.
26 October
1500 Suspicious Activity, Weatherwood Rd.- Resident requested an
officer after hearing someone enter the house. Investigation
revealed a family friend had entered the house, dropped off a
package and left.
1700 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd.- Citations issued for speeding.
1735 Medical Assist, Elementary School- Officer checking the
elementary school located a child who had fallen from her horse
while riding on the property. Shutesbury EMS responded and the
child was transported to hospital by AFD for evaluation.
27 October
0240 Response by Other Agency, Wendell Rd.- State Police responded to
an alarm activation at S.A.C. Building found to be secure.
1930 Assist Person, Lakeview Rd.- Report of a possible intoxicated
driver. Check of area indicated the individual in question had
not left their home or operated their vehicle. Reporting party
advised.
2315 Suspicious Vehicle, Prescott Rd.- Officer checked on parked
vehicle with operator sleeping behind the wheel. Officer
determined that operator was fit to drive and had pulled over to
sleep after driving from Boston.
28 October
1230 Traffic Stop, Lakeview Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.
1300 B&E, Birch Dr.- Resident reported their unlocked house was
entered and a small amount of change was taken.
1345 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.
1415 Animal Complaint, In-Station-Resident reported encountering an
aggressive dog behind Town Hall. Dog Officer notified and dog
owner was contacted regarding incident.
29 October
1245 Accident, West Pelham Rd.- Officer took a walk-in report of a dog
v. motorcycle accident which had occurred Sunday evening. No
injuries to operator or to animal. Report filed.
1350 Complaint, In-Station- Report filed regarding incident which
occurred during Fire Department in-service response. Criminal
complaint pending.
1800 Follow-up/Investigation, West Pelham Rd.- Officer conducted
interviews relative to two separate reports filed earlier in the
day.
31 October
1730 Assist Other Dept., New Salem- Officer assisted New Salem PD with
traffic stop, Rte 202.
1745 Parking Complaint, King Rd.- Resident reported ongoing problem
with road being blocked by improper parking of a King
Rd. resident.
