     call.

2155 Traffic Stop, Prescott Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.

1830 Suspicious Vehicle, Montague Rd.- Resident requested an officer
     to check on a vehicle which had entered a logging road near their
     home. Vehicle GOA.

2250 Assist Fire Dept., Pelham Hill Rd.- Officer responded with Fire
     Department to a residence for the strong odor of gas.

1110 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
1135 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.
 
1150 Assist Person, Wendell Rd. - Officer stopped by motorist seeking
     directions to Amherst.
 
1210 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for expired
     inspection sticker.

0008 DMV, S-Curves- State Police responded to a reported DMV on the S-
     Curves section of Leverett Rd.


09 October

1025 Animal Complaint, Shore Dr. - Officer requested to assist a
     resident with a sick squirrel.
 
1550 Assist Person, Rte 202- Officer requested to assist motorist on
     Route 202 who reported hitting a coyote.  Animal returned to
     woods on its own.

1715 Assist Other Agency, Leverett- Officer requested to assist with
     traffic control on North Leverett Rd while crews cleared fallen
     tree from road.
 
1815 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 

12 October

1755 DMV, Rte 202- Officer assisted motorist who had problems with
     trailer they were towing.

1820 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.
 
1850 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
2025 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.


14 October

1610 Follow Up Traffic Issue, Montague Rd.- Officer conducting
     investigation regarding prior suspicious m/v in area.
 
2040 Missing/Lost Person, Mt. Mineral- Hiker reported lost hiking
     companion in Mt. Mineral area.  SFD, Montague Shutesbury, and
     State Police conducted staging operations.  Lost person found way
     out before search began.


15 October

1905 Medical Assist, Pratt Corner Rd.- Officer assisted SFD with
     request for medical assistance.  Patient transported to hospital
     by AFD.
 
1950 MVA, Montague Rd.- Officer responded with SGFD for a reported
     vehicle rollover, no injuries.  Vehicle towed from scene, no
     injuries.
