1000 Alarm response, Leverett Rd. - Officer responded to a Leverett
     Rd. residence when a neighbor reported a car alarm sounding.
     Owner of vehicle not at home, alarm reset.
 
1615 MVA, Wendell Rd. - Single vehicle accident Wendell Rd. Car ran
     off road and into telephone pole.  Operator was uninjured,
     National Grid contacted to replace! pole. No reports of power
     loss.  Operator cited for marked lanes violation.
 
1945 Traffic Stop, Route 202- Citation issued for speeding.
 
1950 Residential Alarm Response, Lake Area- Officer responded to a
     reported intrusion alarm at a residence at Lake Wyola.
     Investigating officer found residence occupied and verified alarm
     codes with residents.
 
2100 Assist Citizen, In-Station- Owner of car involved in prior
     accident requesting information on where the car had been towed
     to.  Services rendered.
           

02 June

0930 Summons Service, Wendell Rd. - Officer attempted to serve court
     papers to a Wendell Rd. resident.  Resident was not at home.
 
1245 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Officer issued two citations for
     speeding while monitoring traffic on Leverett Rd.
 
1905 Assist Other Agency, Leverett Rd.- County dispatch requested
     assistance in checking for a reported car off the road in the
     Shutesbury Rd and Leverett Rd.  Vehicle and operator located, AAA
     contacted at operator's request.
 

03 June

1115 MVA, Pratt Corner Rd. - Officer investigated a single car
     accident which had occurred earlier.  Owner/operator located and
     cited for Leaving Scene of Property Damage Accident/Failure to
     Report.

04 June

0650 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
0715 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. Citation issued for speeding.
 
2145 Medical Assist., Weatherwood Rd. - Officer assisted Shutesbury
     Fire EMS with a reported medical problem at a Weatherwood
     Rd. residence.
 

05 June

1145 Traffic Stop, Pelham Hill Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
1240 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
           
1300 Citizen Complaint, Locks Pond Rd. - Resident reported a
     refrigerator at the side of the road which still had the door
     attached.  Home owner was advised of State law requiring the
     removal of refrigerator doors when disposed of.  Resident made
     arrangements to have door removed within the hour.
 
06 June

2100 Suspicious Person, West Pelham Rd. - resident reported seeing an
     unknown person in the area of a trailer parked at a West Pelham
     Rd.  residence.  Subject was gone on officer's arrival, area
     search was negative.
 

07 June

1600 Assist Person, Lakeview Rd. - Officer requested to assist person
     with traffic safety as they towed large camping trailer Lakeview
     Rd.  Service rendered.
 
1715 Assist Other PD, Shutesbury Rd. - County dispatch requested
     assistance with getting cows out of road and back into fenced
     area.  Services rendered.
 

08 June

0645 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
0720 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
1600 Citizen Complaint, Locks Pond Rd. - Resident reported a large
     commercial truck had passed a school bus which had activated it's
     emergency fla shers and was discharging students.  Subsequent
     investigation resulted in identifying Company owner and the
     vehicle operator who was cited for multiple violations.
 
2130 Traffic Stop, Locks Pond Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
2145 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 

09 June

0855 Summons Service, Wendell Rd. - Summons served in hand to resident
     of Wendell Rd.
 
1330 Assist Citizen, In-Station- Citizen requested to speak with an
     officer regarding firearms laws.
 
1335 Citizen Complaint, In-Station- Two residents in station to
     request increased traffic enforcement on Wendell Rd.
           
1605 Welfare Check, Lake Area - Request for an officer to check on the
     welfare of a lake area resident.  Officer unable to locate
     individual.


10 June

1155 Traffic Enforcement, Wendell Rd. - Officer conducted directed
     radar enforcement on Wendell Rd in response to resident's
     request.


11 June           

1840 911 Emergency Hang-up, Locks Pond Rd. - Officer responded to a
     911 hang-up call at a Locks Pond residence.  Responding officer
     spoke with the resident who stated he had accidentally dialed
     "9-1-1" in stead of "4-1-1".

2200 Suspicious Activity, Atkins Reservoir - Officer identified three
     individuals and verbally trespassed them when they were found
     fishing at the Atkins Reservoir.


12 June

0810 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
0941 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
1115 Citizen Complaint, Lakeview Rd. - Resident reported seeing two
     individuals who appeared to be tampering with several mailboxes
     in the lake area.  Reporting party provided physical description
     and vehicle registration of vehicle.  Investigation pending.
           
1230 Assist F.D., Lakeview Rd. - Officer assisted Fire Department with
     alarm response to lake area residence.
 
1430 Phone Scam, Pelham Hill Rd. - Resident reported that a caller
     attempted to get them to provide bank account numbers and
     promised free prescriptions for life in exchange. Report taken.
 

13 June           

1330 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
1555 Traffic Stop, Lakeview Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
           
2015 Traffic Stop, Wendell Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
 
15 June

0720 Parking Complaint, Elementary School- Officer investigated a
     report of bus access at the elementary school being blocked.
 
1240 Traffic Stop, Locks Pond Rd. - Citation issued for speeding.
 
2120 Assist Other PD, New Salem - New Salem PD requested an officer to
     assist them in an investigation.
