     Wendell Rd.  to assist EMS with medical problem.  Patient
     transported to hospital by Amherst Fire Dept.

1330 Attempted B&E, Wendell Rd.- Resident reported finding signs of
     attempted entry to home.  All windows locked and no access was
     gained.

1720 911 Emergency Call/ Hang-up, Wendell Rd.- Responding officer
     spoke with resident who had complaint regarding neighbors
     animals.
 
1900 Assist Person, Wendell Rd.- Officer requested reference to
     previous animal complaint, caller stated verbal argument had
     ensued.

1230 Vandalism, Elementary School- Report taken on damge to playing
     field turf and goal posts at the Elementary School.
     Investigation also revealed graffitti on playground and building.
 
2050 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd.- Citation issued for passing on a
     double yellow line and expired registration.  Vehicle towed.

0940 Traffic Stop, Lakeview Rd.- Citatino issued for speeding.

1445 Suspicious Activity, Montague Rd.- Bus driver requested
     assistance from officer reference to improper behavior of several
     students.

1215 Medical Assist, Cooleyville Rd.- Officers responded to residence
     on Cooleyville Rd.  with EMS to assist injured contractor.
     Patient transported by Amherst Fire Dept.

2150 Traffic Hazard, Cooleyville Rd.- Officer provided traffic control
     for contractor painting road lines in Town.
 
2355 MVA, January Hills Rd.-Vehicle operator backed into ditch while
     exiting driveway.  No injuries, assistence rendered.
 

29 April    

1000 DMV, West Pelham Rd.- Passerby reported vehicle which appeared to
     be stuck on side of road.  GOA.
 
1300 Revoked Registration, Locks Pond Rd.- Registration removed from
     vehicle for insurance revocation.
 
1530 Residence Check/Notification- Officer spoke with homeowner
     regarding their residence being found open on previous occasions.
 
1700 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd.- Citation issued for speeding
 

30 April

1700 Alarm Activation- Offcer responded to a reported residential
     intrusion alarm.  Officer found home to be all secure.
 
1800 Animal Complaint, Wendell- Wendell animal control officer
     reported picking up dog which belonged to Shutesbury
     resident. Assistence rendered.
