0735 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd- Operator issued citation for
     speeding.
 
1700 Hazard, Leonard Rd. - Report of tree down form high winds
     blocking Leonard Road.  Responding officer fond no property
     damage or loss of power.  Highway Department notified.
 
1800 Hazard, January Hills Rd.-Report of tree limbs down on January
     Hills Road.  Responding officer found tree limbs across primary
     electrical wires and telephone lines.  National Grid notified.
           

24 October

1130 DMV, Route 202- County Dispatch reported a disabled vehicle
     blocking southbound lane of Route 202.  Vehicle owner returned
     while officer was present and reported vehicle ran out of gas.
     Vehicle left under own power.
 

26 October

0740 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd. - Operator issued citation for
     speeding.
 
0810 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd. - Operator issued citation for
     speeding.
 
1430 Assist Other Department, Route 202- Disabled tractor trailer unit
     on Rte 202, just north of Town line.  New Salem PD and
     Mass. State Police advised.

0710 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Operator issued citation for
     speeding.
           
0750 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd. - Operator issued citation for
     speeding.
 
0910 Traffic Stop, Rte 202- Operator issued citation for speeding
 
1120 Domestic, Montague Rd. - Shutesbury and Leverett officers
     investigated a report of possible domestic abuse.  DSS notified
 
1830 DMV, Sumner Mtn. Rd. - Property owner requested police assistance
     to have a disabled vehicle removed from private property.  Unable
     to contact registered owner; vehicle removed by private tow
     company.
 
 
28 October

1215 Intrusion Alarm, Wendell Rd. - Officer responded to a reported
     intrusion alarm.  Key holder identified and stated they had
     accidentally activated alarm.
 
1840 Lost Person, West Pelham Rd. - Report of resident not returning
     home after going out to walk dog.  Officer was unable to locate
     individual.
 

29 October

1025 Assist Person, Sumner Mtn. Rd. - Owner of vehicle towed earlier
     requested information on how and where to pick up their vehicle.
 
1045 Animal Complaint, Wendell Rd. - Report of chickens in roadway,
     potential traffic hazard.  Officer assisted in removing chickens
     from road and retuning them to owner.
 
1535 Traffic Stop, Cooleyville Rd. - Operator issued citation for
     speeding, failure to use care in passing.
 

30 October

0715 Intrusion Alarm, Sumner Mtn. Rd. - Officer responded to a
     reported residential alarm activation.  Residence found to be
     secure, alarm company advised.
           
1745 Summons Service, Montague Rd. - Court summons served in hand to
     Montague Rd. resident.
 
1805 DMV, Wendell Rd. - County Dispatch reported a vehicle off the
     road, no driver in area.  Vehicle was towed from ditch and driven
     from scene by owner.
 
1940 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Operator issued citation for
     speeding.
 

31 October

0815 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd. - Operator issued citation for
     speeding.
 
1815 Medical Assist, Baker Rd.- Officer responded with Fire Department
     to assist resident in need of medical services.
