0750 Motor Vehicle Stop, Pelham Hill Rd- Citation issued for speeding.
 

05 October

2100 DMV, Shore Dr.- Officer assisted motorist with disabled motor
     vehicle.
 

06 October

1620 Motor Vehicle Stop, Leverett Rd- Citation issued for speeding.
           
1640 Motor Vehicle Stop, Montague Rd- Citation issued for speeding.
           
2100 Assist FD, West Pelham Rd- Officers responded to request to
     assist the Fire Department with a carbon monoxide detector
     sounding.
 

07 October
 
0830 Assistance, Town Hall- Officer assisted Town officials with
     preparation for bulky waste collection at Highway Dept.

1145 B&E, Lake Area- Officer took report of a breaking and entering to
     a house in the Lake area.  Investigation pending.

1330 Follow-up, Lake Area- Officer returned to B&E location after
     resident reported finding additional items missing.

1530 Suspicious Activity, West Pelham Rd- Resident requested to speak
     with an officer after finding an individual marijuana plant
     growing the woods behind their house.

1630 Suspicious Activity, Montague Rd- Resident reported receiving
     unsolicited calls on answering machine requesting credit card
     information.  Investigation traced calls to Central Ma location;
     corresponding jurisdiction advised.
           
1940 M/V Complaint, Prescott Rd/ Rte 202- Officer investigated a
     complaint of a car being operated in an erratic manner.  State
     Police on Rte. 202 reported they had located the vehicle after it
     was involved in an accident.  Shutesbury officer assisted Sate
     Police at accident scene.

2210 Area Check, Shore Dr- Officer checked area of Shore Dr. and Lake
     View Rd. for issues related to Lake Association function.  No
     complaints received.
 
 
08 October

1300 Assist Citizen, Lake Wyola- Officer met with resident to assist
     with information related to out of state domestic issue.
           
1400 Assist Other Department, Leverett- Shutesbury officer assisted
     Leverett PD on 911 hang up call.
 
1730 Traffic Stop, Rte 202- Citation issued for speeding.
 
1920 Traffic Stop, Leverett Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.


09 October
 
1715 Trespassing, January Hills Rd.- Officer responded to January
     Hills Rd for a report of people swimming in the reservoir.  They
     were gone on officer's arrival.
 

10 October
           
1020 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd.- Warning issued for speeding.
 
1120 911 Hang up, Community Dr.- Officer dispatched for a reported
     Emergency 911 hang up call.  Officer spoke with resident who
     stated she had dialed 911 accidentally.
 

12 October
 
1845 Intrusion Alarm, Elementary School- Officers responded to the
     elementary school for a reported intrusion alarm.  They found
     that after school personnel had set off alarm accidentally.
 

15 October
           
1330 Traffic Stop, West Pelham Rd.- Citation issued for speeding.
 
1420 Suspicious Vehicle, Reservoir- Officer found two hikers walking
     dog around reservoir.  They were advised of area being posted as
     public drinking water supply and use of trails is only by
     permission from the Town of Amherst Public Works Dept.
