0810  Traffic Stop, Pelham Hill Rd- Citation issued for speeding.
 
1720  Summons Service, Pelham Hill Rd- Court summons served in hand to
      resident on Pelham Hill Rd.
 

April 07
      
1750  Vehicle Fire, Elementary School- Officer assisted Fire Department with 
      reported car fire at elementary school parking lot.  Registered owner of
      vehicle notified.
 

April 08
        
1500  Traffic Enforcement, GHSB Grant- Officer conducted two hour
      directed traffic enforcement in town, funded by Governor's
      Highway Safety Grant
 
2120  Assist Citizen, Locks Pond Rd- Resident requested
      information from officer related to past domestic dispute.
      Services rendered.
 

April 09
        
1030  Animal Complaint, West Pelham Rd- Resident of West Pelham Rd
      reported dog missing since previous night.  Area search
      negative, Dog Officer notified.  Dog was later found to be
      in the care of a neighbor.
 
1215 Medical, Schoolhouse Rd- Officer responded to assist medical
     personnel with resident of Schoolhouse Rd reporting possible
     cardiac symptoms.  Patient transported to Cooley Dickenson
     Hospital by Amherst Fire Department ambulance.
 
1645 Residential Alarm, Cushman Rd- Officer responded to
     residence on Cushman Rd. after alarm company reported
     intrusion alarm.  Check of property by responding officer
     showed house secure.  Key holder advised.

1720 Disturbance, Pratt Corner Rd- Resident reported two ATVs
     being operated on Pratt Corner Rd. at high rate of speed.
     Operators not wearing protective equipment.  When officer
     arrived, both ATVs failed to stop for officer and fled on to
     gated logging road where cruiser was unable to follow.
 

April 10
 
1645 Traffic Enforcement, GHSB- Officer conducted directed
     traffic enforcement under Governor's Highway Safety Grant.
 
2045 Traffic/Arrest, Leverett Rd.- Officer conducting traffic
     stop on Leverett Rd. was advised by County Dispatch that
     operator had active warrant out of Gardner District Court.
     Operator was arrested and transported to Orange PD for
     processing and held for bail.


April 11
 
1410 Assist Fire Department, Leverett Rd- Highway Superintendent
     reported possible chimney fire at residence on Leverett Rd.
     Officer responded with Fire Department to assist with
     traffic control.
 
1510 Assist Other P.D., Rte 202- New Salem officer requested
     assistance with two subjects on motor vehicle stop.  Records
     check indicated operator had suspended license, passenger
     had active warrant issued by Leominster District Court.
     Both subjects transported to Orange District Court for
     processing.
 

April 12
 
1230 Assist Citizen, Wendell Rd.- Resident on Wendell
     Rd. requested assistance from police after locking keys in
     vehicle.  Services rendered.
 
1530 Traffic Enforcement, GHSB Grant- Officer conducted directed
     traffic enforcement in Town under Governor's Highway Safety
     Grant.
 
1925 Medical, West Pelham Rd- Officer assisted Shutesbury and
     Amherst medical personnel with elderly patient who had
     fallen.  No medical transport required.
 

April 13
 
1230 B&E/Larceny, East Lake Area.- Summer resident at Lake Wyola
     reported opening house for season and finding cash missing.
     Reporting party believes entry may have occurred during the
     month of February.
 

April 14
 
0855 Medical, Pelham Hill Rd- Officer responded to assist
     Shutesbury and Amherst EMTs with a resident on Pelham Hill
     Rd who had fallen and sustained possible injuries to neck
     and back.  Patient transported to Cooley Dickenson Hospital.
