Reporting party advised of theirs rights under the Domestic Abuse

Traffic Stop West Pelham Road-Citation issued for speeding.

Citizen Complaint/Illegal Dumping, Wendell Road-Reporting party
states four large trash bags left on the side of the road. Bags
were removed and taken to Highway Department for disposal.

Traffic Stop, Pelham Hill Road-Citation issued for speeding

Citizen Complaint/Erratic Operation, Rte 202-County dispatch
requested a Shutesbury officer monitor southbound traffic on Rte
202 in the area of Prescott Road for a vehicle being operated
erratically. The report was called in by a motorist on Rte 202
who witnesses the incident. Vehicle was stopped and issued
citation for speeding, failure to use care in passing, and
failure to stay within marked lanes.

Motor Vehicle Accident, Montague Road-Single motor vehicle
accident, rollover. Response by State Police, Shutesbury and
Amherst Fire Departments. Operator was located at nearby
residence and transported to Cooley Dickenson Hospital. Charges
pending investigation by State Police.

911 Hang-up, West Pelham Road- County dispatch reported a 911
emergency call; on call back resident stated that child had been
playing with phone. Officer responded and verified information.

Traffic Stop, Wendell Road-Citation issued for speeding

Assist Other Agency, Montague Road-State Police requested officer
to relay information to resident.

911 Hang-up, Wendell Road-County dispatch received 911 emergency
call from residence on Wendell Road and on call back could not
connect. Officers responded and found that a child at the house
had dialed 911 by accident.

911 Hang-up, Wendell Road- County dispatch received second 911
call from Wendell Road resident. Responding officers found child
had been playing with phone. Parent was advised to move phone to
less accessible location for child.

Motor Vehicle Accident/Property Damage, Leverett Road- Mailboxes
at two separate Leverett Road addresses were destroyed by a
vehicle traveling eastbound, which failed to stop. Investigation
by State and Town police located the registered owner of the
vehicle, a resident of Orange. State Police summonsed the
operator to court for driving with an expired license. Town
police made arrangements for restitution and declined to pursue
further charges
